Thanks for stopping by. Friends, Favs & Flicks is just what the name implies. Below are links to sites that I hope you'll find interesting. Some are like minded in that they are dedicated to preserving the past. Some links I used in my research and others are just plain fun! The same can also be said of the videos. Some are aviation related, others are interesting things I've come across in my travels. (note, all videos are office safe, though your co-workers may wonder about your sense of humor.)

I've been flying Warbirds for ten years now. You can fly ledgenday warbirds from both sides of the channel, strap on a fighter and line up on your opponets tail, toggle the bomb switch in your B-17 or jump off the pitching deck of an aircraft carrier. Its a great game, with a great community behind it!
The Olympic Flight Museum is located in Olympia, Washington. They not only have great static displays but are a great "flying" museum. They have an awesome assortment of flying aircraft including a wonderfully restored P-51 Mustang called the American Beauty. In fact, in the picture in the back of my the book, I'm sitting in the cockpit of the American Beauty. This is a great place to take the family, have some fun and learn about history! It's one thing to read about it in a book, but it a whole other story to see it up close and to touch it. To stand on the tarmac and listen to the Merlin V-1650-7 12 cylinder engine lope as it goes by and prepares to take off, then to hear it roar to life as it streaks down the runway and leaps into the air. That's and experience you just can't get out of book
